I take photos of all new yarns coming into the studio. Hand dyed yarns can differ between dye batches. I use my lightbox and Canon to capture the true colours so you don't need to guess. If a colourway I have in stock looks different I will make two listings to show the differences.

Composition: 100% extrafine merino wool
Length: about 120 meters for 100 g / 131 yards for 3.5 oz
This soft yarn is made with our extra fine merino tops.
Because it is a slightly twisted roving, it maintains all of the natural softness and lightness of wool while still being easy to use with knitting and crochet needles. What’s more, once this wool yarn is worked it tends to puff up even more and gets chunkier.
Therefore, the pieces you make will not only be super warm and soft but totally cozy too.
Like all that isn’t enough, the dyes are Oeko-Tex standard 100 certified and the wool fiber that’s used is mulesing-free. As we don’t want to compromise on the beauty or sustainability either!
All you have to do now is try it! This Piuma wool yarn is ideal to knit and crochet with but also with macramé and needle punch.
